ambling along ...

well, you'd think so, by the lack of news around these parts!

so lets get up to date again ...

I've quilted this beauty, and it really is wonderful, full of vintage fabrics including some iconic Laura Ashley fabrics ...

I need find a perfect binding, maybe a vintage ditzy gingham, all suggestions gratefully received

I finally got round to playing with my Simply Solids Monthly Stash club fabrics, working on Laura's Stella Stars pattern ...

I have the greens matched up, and the oranges arrived today ... hmmm, fall ing behind already!

The Diva has gone on a little trip, nuff said!
But I did make her a pouch to put all her medical emergency stuff in, you know, the stuff you take just in case of Deli Belly and all that jazz!

kinda cute, but still an ungrateful child!

there has been baking ...

and I pulled fabrics from a triple zippy pouch ...

and I got a little play time in with these Superior Threads ...

that involved patchwork wadding ...

play time ...

and I uncovered 15 years of dust from this little baby ...

which meant I could get these done ...

so, for now, there you have it, ambling along as usual!

I'll be back with the rest tomorrow maybe

Sunday Sitrep

Is it really over a week since my last post?

I've been doing 'stuff' ... you know how it is ...

I HAVE been working on these for Sarah, but I'm still working on getting my head round them ...

and I did rustle up ...

another scarf, fabrics from Tracey at Quilt Me Happy ...

and I managed to pull fabrics ...

and unsurprisingly, started something new!

X & + blocks to follow :)

and I did manage to get a monster Ripple Nipple block for Hadley for the Brit Bee

and there has been the small matter of some quilting, now delivered

and of course, not forgetting the enormous amount of time spent on my tax return,
I am happy to have it filed and done :)

and today I have been giving a trunk show at the Petwood Hotel, as part of a retreat weekend
run my Martha for Frame Machine Quilters

the sun shone, and it was a balmy 8.5 celcius!

How was your week?
