Snow stops play

So I was supposed to be teaching In Basingstoke at Purple Stitches this weekend,  all arranged, cat taken care of, car sorted so I got here despite #snowmagedon hitting the south.

and then it all came to a grinding halt,  the snow just kept falling, the traffic came to standstill cars abandoned, it wasn't pretty!

So instead, my classes were cancelled, there has been some work going on in the background 

some of this ...

and snuggling under for some of this ...

Maybe by the end of the week I will be ready to do some more quilting on the Amazing Grace quilt when I get home and can fit it in.
