A few last minute makes

So Christmas was a delight, I managed to get everything done and even organised in time for my extra child to stay, with the usual annual quilt pile ...

but this year I had to store them in the fabric pantry as well! Oops!

I can now show you these two gift bags that were given ...

and my DS requested a girlie pretty pouch for his girlfriend, and this was the result

filled with handmade soap and a Lush bath bombe! Success!

There were some others, but in my haste I didn't get any photographic evidence - oops!

The dining table remains clear, shocking I know, and we continue to eat our way through the Christmas cake, one of my goals for the coming year may have to be to banish the extra pounds that came to visit, and brought friends too!

I hope your Christmas was all you hoped for, I'll be back with one last finish for 2012 before the year is out!

I too am thinking that I best eat a lot more of the baking now as a diet is in the cards for next week no matter what. The makes are lovely and that stack of quilts looks amazing.

Fabric in the pantry... Actually I'm more surprised there actually was a room without fabric in the first place.... lol Merry Christmas sweets x

Bit late I know, but merry Christmas. Save me some Christmas cake, I must sort out coming over to return the quilt you lent me.

Lol, congrats on the clear table, and glad the cake's been going down well. I got about 1/6th of our family one, which I'm kind of half slowly and half quickly working my way through, as I also need to get strictly back on diet in the new year!

I'm glad you had a lovely Christmas, what's a few pounds between friends? The coming spring, time outside will make them disappear. My best wishes to you for a happy and prolific 2013.
