... out of the ground that is, I ventured to the allotment and lifted some leeks, carrots and parsnips, oh and grabbed a red onion just for good measure, needless to say lunch was delicious!
There was more of this ....
LOTS more!
and I promised you better pics of this yesterday ...
I am so pleased with the stitching, the Valdani Perle is just wonderful
Thank you Tina for reminding me of the value of the needle :)
feeds my soul :)
and then there was a little more quilting on this ...
not as much as I'd hope, but progress, and that's always good.
Happy Quilting!

Love the little bag and the variegated perle is wonderful! Your quilting is superb - can't wait to see the rest!
Mmmmm is that more rotten jelly? ;-) Pouch is really lovely :-) x
Your quilting looks fantastic, love the design on the dark pink fabric (bottom photo).
Very lovely little pouch...and your veggies look D-licious! x
Love your harvest - I used to have an allotment when I lived in London and it was such hard work but fun at the same time. V,cute pouch - will have to get myself on this pouch train!
Great look veggies. That pouch looks great in the light too
That's Sue's quilt, isn't it? The quilting is looking lovely.
Nice carrots & leeks - I still can't grow carrot-fly free carrots, and the allium leaf miner is again a feature of my leeks. On the plus side I had roast veg with my tea tonight - potato, garlic, red pepper, squash, onion & parsnip ALL from the plot. Yum!
Hugh F.W would be v.proud of you indeed!! Pouch is just as cute in this light, and the quilting on the LA looks stunning (as always!). Jxo
Your little bag looks great. Every time you show something like that I think "I really MUST learn to put zips in."
I love all those veg - dead jealous actually but then you worked for is and I didn't - and I also love how you staged your zippy pouch with them. Great photo.
