Quilting Butterfly

I'm a quilting butterfly, I flit from one project to another, I have maybe 10 on the go at any one time and at least 20 tops waiting to be quilted.

So when a blogging friend said she was starting something new, it got me thinking ....

(yes, I've been known to think before I start something new!  LOL)

I've been looking at these fabrics for the last couple of weeks.  There are several options to consider.  The blues and greens I've been thinking about a pattern I saw on Film in the Fridge blog.  However, Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville fame is about to start a new Mystery quilt, and I've made the last two (well, technically made one the other is at the layout the blocks stage, so that counts right?)  Anyway, when I put the blue greens with the pinks and oranges I have the start of a great quilt, throw in some white background a little taupe and we are there!  But then the pinks and oranges would make a great version of the Film in the Fridge quilt.  And then again, both these colourways would look great as a half Square Triangle quilt along the lines of Red Pepper Quilts

Now can you see my dilemma?

I really want to start something new, bright, cheerful, but which one?

What would you do?

What a beautiful pile of fabrics! I'm really anxious to see what you choose. Whatever you decide, it's going to be gorgeous!

What a difficult choice. I think you will need to make both.

Quilting butterfly. What a great way to explain all those UFO's. Can I borrow that to describe me? I love it.

What a dilemma to have! I'd love to see the HST quilt in your fabrics... but whatever you choose will be lovely.
