so at the end of last month I managed to sneak in my April Bee Blocks
for the Brit Bee ...
Ceri had sent us some hand printed sketches she'd asked each of us to do for her,
and as expected, mine had a feather in it ..
and some beautiful hand printed fabrics made wonderful log cabin-ish blocks
And Jo send out a whole stack of low volume liberty fabrics and just a few bold ones, with a request to make a block using 1/3 darks to 2/3 low volume ...
and these triangles went together so beautifully!
So my Brit Bee blocks are all up to date :)
That is such a cute wee feather! Great blocks! Jxo
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks Trudi. Especially like the triangles. I've seen lots of interesting blocks popping up with these triangles and I'm curious about how the final quilt will look.
ReplyDeleteAnd what great blocks they are. I love how what we ask for has evolved over the past two years.
ReplyDeleteI love those triangles that your group is making.
ReplyDeleteWell done you! I wonder how Jo's going to put those all together...
ReplyDeleteWell done Trudi!
ReplyDeleteI've loved seeing both these blocks popping up, and yours are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow Trudi, these are fabulous! :o)
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful blocks yet very different. Your bee is very imaginative when they set their bee tasks. Di x
