Really? October already?
Would someone please tell me where September went to?
looks like a slower month, but hey, that's ok, my body has yet to adjust to the change in season , so hopefully by the end of this month I will have got used to dark nights, and feeling like I should be hibernating!
yeah I know, get over myself and get on with it!
so a few Bee Blocks, some sewing, some practice sewing, and some quilting, there may have been a smattering of cake, jam and chutney production too!
Speaking of cake, whilst the Diva lays in bed and off school, (yep poorly child in this house) cake production continues for this afternoons quilting meeting, and we are trying something new, and seasonal.
I'll let you know how it goes :)
So now you've seen what I've been up to, Head on over to Lynnes blog where the linky party is and see what everyone else has been up to.
And whilst you're there, how about taking a look around some of those smaller blogs, you might be surprised at what and who you find!
Just Sayin!
Ooh, Good Fortune! What are you using those lovelies for??
ReplyDeleteLove your star block and the Union Jacks!
ReplyDeleteHard to believe how quickly September flew by - I'm definitely not ready for it to be October either!
Mosaic of pretties - love the Union Jacks!
ReplyDeleteI love your Union Jacks too - lovely makes and await news of the cake production!
ReplyDeleteI expect you didn't notice where September went because you were so busy making all of these lovely things! Especially love the Union Jacks. I can sympathise on the ill child front - I have an ill toddler at home today, temperature and permacough. I don't think I will get much done today!!
ReplyDeleteWell I still think that you quilt prolifically, even in your quitter months. I hope that the Diva feels better soon- perhaps the smell of baking will tempt her! Di x
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting to hear about that cake!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and mmmmm cake!!
ReplyDeleteYou've always got something in the works. I especially love the Union Jacks!
ReplyDeleteJust popped over from Lily's Quilts.
ReplyDeleteI love the Irish Chain photo (useless with block names so it may be something else - bottom row, centre) - did I miss it?!
ReplyDeleteJust nipped to look at the cake recipe - was it good?
ReplyDeleteArgh, it can't be October already, no time! But great makes for September there!
ReplyDeleteNow I want cake too. You had a lovely month of quilting, I hope that October is even better.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous mosaic, Trudi. And now I'm trying not to go downstairs and have a cupcake! ;) Love all of your Jack blocks! xo
ReplyDeleteI like your projects - especially the Union Jacks. And yum, cake!
