Yep, that's right, it's time for a little Christmas preparation, so today I am joining Sue of Quilt Times and Lesley The Cuddle Quilter, our host for today, for the Christmas Quilt Along!
I mentioned yesterday that I have actually done some sewing this week ...
Thanks to this book, I managed to piece this little beauty on Thursday evening after work.
It took an hour, honestly, just an hour!
So my plan to day, in between a little baking, a little mums taxi duty, and a couple of visitors is to get at least 4 of these made ...
I have some quilting I must get done too ... and I have more news on that to come too!
Are you making those as a Sample Swap item? Are you? Are you? Man, I want to be in your group and Katy's group!!
ReplyDeleteHeh, what Susan said (although I'll already be in my group lol)
ReplyDeleteHi Trudi - my those are too cute! Sounds like you have a busy day ahead - catch ya later!
ReplyDeleteThose look great Trudi. I'll have to investigate the pattern for them I think.
ReplyDeleteHey Trudi I have made a couple of these. They are really satisfying to do. I like your colour combo. Di xo
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Oh, I don't miss the Mom Taxi job at all. I think I was the only Mom who was happy to have my kids drive.
ReplyDeleteLove it and just my sort of colours! Do you recommend the book - it is one I have not bought yet but am tempted!
ReplyDeleteGo the Zakka book - I am planning on page 80!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks really lovely and makes a great gift!
ReplyDeletehmm starting to get an itch to buy Zakka....
