... out of the ground that is, I ventured to the allotment and lifted some leeks, carrots and parsnips, oh and grabbed a red onion just for good measure, needless to say lunch was delicious!

ReplyDeleteNice carrots & leeks - I still can't grow carrot-fly free carrots, and the allium leaf miner is again a feature of my leeks. On the plus side I had roast veg with my tea tonight - potato, garlic, red pepper, squash, onion & parsnip ALL from the plot. Yum!
