Finish Along Quarter 1 Reckoning

Is it time already?

Ok, I did good, considering I took delivery of a new long arm quilting machine, and have been flat out working since then!

#1  Swoon Quilt - only need to quilt and bind it, only!

Done!

I am thrilled to have finished this one, so much so, its on my bed and I love it!

#2  The big star I pieced back at the Kitchen Guild Weekend Retreat -  so quilted and bound, again.

well, its quilted, and I've started the binding, so not much more to do, likely candidate for quarter 2?

#3 This is a Schnibbles quilt I made at least ... ooh, well I cant remember now!  but, quilted and bound is all its gonna take to finish this pretty.

Still a top, still waiting to be quilted :(

#4 And this Kaffe/batik (yes, I have more to come avert your eyes now!) -  again quilting and binding to finish.

Still a top, and still waiting to be quilted :(

#5 Oriental wall hanging type thingy -  quilted and bound!

Still another top, and still waiting to be quilted :(

#6  Cute Linus quilt - quilting and binding for the finish

Done!  Yay, and gifted to Project Linus, more to be read here!

#7 batik stash buster quilt, at least 2009 I made this!  Another to be quilted and bound

Done, and hanging up in the shop ready  to become a class sample!  More here!

#8  PB&J Kaleidoscope quilt -  oooh, some piecing, all the blocks are made, all 58 of them, they just need to be put together, borders added, oh and quilted and bound.

Sadly this remains untouched!

#9  so this little lovely is waiting for the Art Gallery Fabric Pure Elements in Snow to turn up, (tomorrows the day!) so that it can be turned into something along the lines of them there disappearing pinwheels below that I already started.

So one layer cake to miraculously be turned into a finished quilt, much like this below

Another untouched project, its time will come!

#10  Layer Cake Lemonade top, to be quilted and bound

Another finish, and gifted, more here!

#11  the Secret project, still need to have the binding stitched down and a label sewn on!

Finished, and gifted, and blogged here!

So, out of the madness that was a very ambitious list, 5 finishes out of 11 potential, I think is a resounding success!

have you linked up your finishes yet?  When I linked up earlier there were over 300, I'd call that a great start to the year!

Good job, you got a lot done! A Swoon quilt is still on my "One Day" list. What a lovely quilt to grace our bed for spring.

I got a few big projects done when I did the FAL last year and plan to sign on for the 2nd Quarter.
