FMQ Friday

Well, I couldn't resist joining in the play with FMQ'ing over with Cindy at Fluffy Sheep Quilting blog .  I played a little catch up from week one ...

OK, I'm no Leah Day, but considering I just sat down to do this and went for it, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.  So I moved onto to the task for week 2 ...

so, they're not all evenly shaped, but again, I was pretty pleased for patterns I've never tried, ever, not a bad attempt at all.

The Teenage Diva asked for a dumpling pouch, shocked ... yep!  She thought it was shop bought, so I guess I should feel complimented.  So I went and bought extra zips so I could play about making it slightly bigger, and will aim to play over the weekend.

Tomorrow, I'm heading for Horncastle for a rendezvous with Doughty's!

Happy Quilting!

Nice quilting! and nicer compliment from the TD! Mine was like that too, nothing homemade would work!

glen: she is currently at her house using my sewing machine to finish up her curtains! So they eventually come around to the dark side

I'm thinking I want to give FMQ a try, but last time I did so, it was a horrible mess on the bobbin side. Has this ever happened to you? I didn't change anything on my machine as it was brand new, and I was afraid to mess with it. Now, I'm thinking I might need to give it a go again, but that bobbin thread tension.. hmmm fear sets in.

If you get half a message, please delete it, it just went off on it's own without so much as a by-your-leave.

What I wanted to say was that these will make some really interesting background quilting patterns.

Can you ask Doughty's to come visit me too, please?! Lovely quilting but then I kind of figured that this was a fish to water sort of thing for you!
